What does the study of astrology entail?

The practice of astrology typically includes the interpretation of the positions and movements of celestial bodies, such as the sun, moon, and planets, in relation to the Earth. Astrologers use this information to create a horoscope, which is a map or chart of the sky at the time of a person’s birth. The horoscope is used to identify a person’s personality traits and potential future events. Astrologers may also use horoscopes to make predictions about a person’s love life, career, and other aspects of their life. Many astrologers will offer consultation and interpretation of the horoscope for clients, and use different techniques such as chart reading, tarot cards, and numerology. It’s worth noting that astrology is not a scientifically recognized field and there is no evidence that the positions of stars and planets at the time of one’s birth have any effect on a person’s life.

Why do astrologers believe the celestial bodies affect personality?

The belief that celestial bodies, such as the sun, moon, and planets, can affect a person’s personality and life path is based on the idea that there is a connection between the microcosm of the individual and the macrocosm of the universe. Astrology views the universe as an interconnected system, where everything is connected and everything is in a constant state of change and evolution.

In this view, the positions and movements of celestial bodies at the time of a person’s birth can be seen as a reflection of the individual’s unique place in the universe and the energies that surround them. Astrology believes that the positions and movements of celestial bodies can provide insight into a person’s character, strengths, weaknesses, and potential life path.
